What To Meal Prep For Breakfast?

Breakfast is the meal of the day that starts your metabolism up. What better way to start it up than with a delicious and nutritious meal? However, for many of us, our busy life doesn’t always allow us to start cooking a gourmet meal early in the morning, or you simply don’t feel like it- you rather go back to bed lol.

Well, there are, however, simple breakfast hacks that will allow you to get that great tasting, nutrient dense food real early in the morning.

While most foods can’t stay fresh when cooked in advanced, there are some breakfast foods that you can. Although as a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, I would not recommend cooking in advance for more than 4/5 days, as foods tend to go bad sitting in the refrigerator longer than that.

Hard Boiled Eggs

Have you ever felt like you cooked hard boiled eggs, only to go and try peeling them, and you lose half the egg? Well, I have. And it was ever so annoying. There is, however a very efficient way to cook them so as not to run into that problem (thanks to my very helpful brother who took upon himself to do the trial and error for me).

1. Boil Water

2. Once boiled, add eggs into pot

3. Let boil for 13 minutes.

4. Cool down with cold water for at least 10 minutes

5. Peel

While there are many other effective ways to do so, I’m sure- this technique has worked wonders for me.
